Transit Company Receives $75,900 Clean Diesel Grant

A company that operates a fleet of diesel-powered buses to provide transportation for the City of Pittsburgh, several school districts, and charters in Allegheny County will receive a $75,900 Clean Diesel Grant from the Department of Environmental Protection, according to Senator Randy Vulakovich.

AKS Inc. will use the grant to replace four of its older diesel-powered school buses with newer diesel-powered school buses, which will reduce emissions.
