SR 6 Commission to Hold May 30 Hearing at Flight 93 Memorial

The Senate Resolution 6 Commission will hold a public hearing on the delivery of fire and EMS services in Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 National Memorial, Stoystown, Somerset County, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, according to Senator Randy Vulakovich and Representative Steve Barrar, who serve as Co-Chairmen of the Commission.

The 39-member Senate Resolution 6 Commission is made up of legislators, first responders and representatives from municipalities.  The panel is charged with studying issues currently affecting first responder and will provide its recommendations to the Senate and House Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committees by November 30, 2018.
